Say it before it lands
A short case you were told about on Friday afternoon is an inconvenience. The same case discovered when the van door opens is a menu change. We would rather make the awkward call.
About us
We started this because the wholesale experience in hospitality is worse than it needs to be — four suppliers, four windows, four invoices, and nobody to call when something is short.
Before this was a wholesaler it was a two-site grill. We spent six years buying from people who were cheap on the things we bought weekly and quietly expensive on everything else, and who told us a line was out of stock by leaving it off the van.
So we built the supplier we had wanted. Every price published. Chilled, frozen and ambient on one vehicle. A named person on a direct line. And a rule that if something is short, you hear it at pick time — while you can still do something about it.
That is still the whole proposition. The catalogue has grown to over 150 lines and the vans now go a great deal further than six miles, but the reason accounts stay has not changed: they can plan around us.
“We are not trying to be the cheapest case on the invoice. We are trying to be the supplier you never have to think about.”

Anyone can be cheapest on chicken and make it back on blue roll. We publish the trade price on every line so you can check the whole order, not the headline.
Dynamic routing is cheaper for us and worse for you. Fixed rounds mean the same driver, the same window and someone who knows which door to use.
No contracts, no minimum spend, no exit clause. If we stop being worth it, you stop ordering. That is the whole arrangement.
Started supplying eleven takeaways within six miles of the depot, mostly people we already knew.
Customers kept asking who printed our boxes. We brought the artwork and the plates in-house.
Temperature-partitioned vehicles meant fresh, frozen and ambient could finally travel on one delivery.
Ordering sites, listings and social for the same kitchens, so the marketing matches the food.
150+ lines, an overnight chilled network and accounts from Glasgow to Portsmouth.
There is no contract and no minimum. Put a single week through us and compare the whole invoice, not the headline price.
