Account details: trading name, delivery address, contact name, email address, phone number, business type and — where you give them — company and VAT numbers.

Order records: what you ordered, when, at what price, where it was delivered and who signed for it. We keep these for six years because HMRC requires it.

Payment details: handled by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers and we do not store them.

Site usage: pages viewed and basket contents, held in your own browser's local storage so your basket survives a refresh. This never leaves your device unless you place the order.

To open and run your trade account, price your orders correctly, deliver to the right address and invoice you accurately. The lawful basis for this is performance of a contract.

To meet tax, food-safety and traceability obligations. The lawful basis is legal obligation.

To tell you about products, price changes and service updates relevant to your account. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, and you can opt out of any of it at any time without affecting your account.

Our payment processor, our delivery partners for zone-three consignments, our accountants, and our hosting and email providers. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other suppliers or advertisers.

Order and invoice records: six years from the end of the relevant financial year.

Account contact details: for as long as the account is open, then two years after the last order in case you return.

Marketing preferences: until you change them.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep, object to marketing, or ask for your data in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.
